The Appaloosa Horse Club of Nova Scotia, an affliate of the Appaloosa Club of Canada, is a club of proud Appaloosa owner's and promoters of the breed.

The show committee have put together what looks like a great show for 2013. Featuring the "Battle of the Breeds" and the new "Ranch Pleasure" classes.

The rich and fascinating history of the Appaloosa breed is as unique as its colorful spotted coat patterns. Spotted horses have been recorded since as long as man has been keeping records - the earliest dating back to prehistoric cave paintings over 20,000 years old.
Appaloosa Named 2012 Most Versatile Breed
Telus Battle of the Breeds - September 6 - 8, 2012
The Appaloosa team won the 2012 Telus Battle of the Breeds competiton at Spruce Meadows in Alberta.
Each year, during the “Masters” Tournament in September, more than ten breeds vie to be the most versatile breed of them all.
